US ‘Spy Encyclopedia’ is a Colossal Red Herring

After Edward Snowden revealed that the US is spying on everyone, Congress got to work on a ‘spy encyclopedia’ to catalog all the hundreds of spying programs the government perpetrates. Senator Dianne Feinstein recently handed the reigns to the special Senate panel tasked with creating this encyclopedia over to Senator Richard Burr, who promised to continue the work of cataloging American spy operations. But there’s a very big hitch to this ‘encyclopedia’ which basically makes the whole idea moot. The Resident discusses.
