Some interesting points about Goliath’s Sons & Brothers

https://www.gotquestions.org/Philistines.html

It appears that Goliath had 4 sons (2 Samuel 21:22) and 3 brothers = total 4 brothers altogether. I Chronicles 20:5 states that LAHMI was a brother of Goliath. Another brother was SAPH (2 Samuel 21:18). Another was LAHMI (1 Chronicles 20:5) and the other brother is unnamed

David slew Goliath, and Goliath’s three brothers were slain by SIBBECHAI the Hushathite (who slew SAPH) (2 Samuel 21:18).
Elhanan the son of Jaareoregim slew LAHMI (2 Samuel 21:19) and David’s nephew JONATHAN, the son of David’s brother SHIMEAH slew the brother of Goliath whose name is not given (2 Samuel 21:21).

There were FIVE LORDS of the Philistines (Judges 3:3, 1 Samuel 6:16) who ruled from GAZA, ASHKELON, ASHDOD, EKRON and GATH.

All of Israel’s most serious problems STARTED with the Philistines (Palestinians) in GAZA! (which is being repeated now on the world stage). It was SAMSON (1200 -1000BC) who went down to GAZA (Judges 16:1) in rebellion against God to see a young harlot named Delilah, who betrayed him to the lords of the Philistines, who ended up putting his eyes out, then brought him to Gaza. Only a very short time later, possibly just 20 years or so, DAVID (1090 – 970BC) a shepherd boy, kills Goliath, and these four remaining lords soon followed.

Samuel anointed David as king of Israel when he was about 15, before David even slew Goliath.

Today, interesting to see how these old Philistine cities come again into view:
